A Liberty Greater Than Your Rights

On Sunday morning, 2 August 2026, Pastor Phil Hunt preached from Romans 14:13-24 on the issue of Christian liberty. Ps Phil showed that this passage argues that Christian liberty, though theologically grounded (all foods, all days are “clean”), must be voluntarily limited by love whenever exercising it could cause a weaker brother to stumble back into sin or grieve his conscience, since the kingdom of God is found not in eating and drinking but in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Spirit.
