It has been said that commitment is the glue that binds relationships together. Commitment keeps us going when we face hard things or when we suffer. I’m so thankful this morning for the faithfulness of God. He keeps His promises, regardless of the circumstances!
We have been reviewing our Church Covenant this week. Our Covenant is the commitment we make to God and our church family when we join Kitwe Church. We have seen that the Church Covenant is a commitment to:
1. Each other
2. Our church
4. A personal walk with God.
5. Join another church when we move from Kitwe.
Our Covenant concludes with: To these and all other Christian duties, we humbly and cheerfully submit ourselves, striving to faithfully perform them in the strength of our Lord.
We will, when we move from this place, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this Covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all.
PS: Plan to join us for Connection Group Bible Study at Lubambe from 18:30-19:30. We will discuss “Fellowship” in our ongoing series: The Ministries of the Local Church.
